This policy explains what personal information the PlayGlade website and the game Mythbound collect, why we use it, and the choices you have. It should be read with the User Agreement.
PlayGlade operates Mythbound. When this policy says “we”, it means the operator of that website and game. The game runs in your browser and talks to our game and account servers.
Account. If you register, we store your username, display name, and a salted hash of your password. We do not store the password itself. We also store a session cookie so you stay signed in.
Game profile. For a signed-in player we store game data needed to run the account: experience, coins, points, items, owned heroes and styles, friends, messages, match results, and similar records. Guest play is kept in your browser and is not a full account.
Play and device. Servers record ordinary technical data such as the time of a request, IP address, and browser type, so we can operate, secure, and debug the service. Match actions in an online room are processed on the game server so the match can be decided fairly.
Payments. If you buy points or other paid goods, the payment is handled by our payment partner, Xsolla. Xsolla collects the payment details it needs. We receive a record of the order, the goods, and whether payment succeeded. We do not receive your full card number.
Site analytics. The PlayGlade pages around the game may use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are opened). Clarity can record interactions on those pages. You can control non-essential cookies in your browser.
Local game files. After the loading screen, the browser may keep a copy of game images and audio on your device so the next visit starts faster. That copy is game content, not your personal profile.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your game data to build advertising profiles for other companies.
Where the GDPR or a similar law applies, we rely on: performing this game contract (account, matches, items); legitimate interests (security, anti-cheat, keeping the service running, and basic analytics); consent where a law requires it; and legal obligations (for example, payment and tax records).
We keep account and game records while the account is open and for a limited time afterward to resolve disputes, prevent repeat abuse, and meet accounting rules. Server logs are kept only as long as we need them for security and troubleshooting. You can clear guest data by clearing this site’s storage in your browser.
Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Access to the account database is limited to operating the service. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Use a password you do not reuse, and sign out on a shared device.
Mythbound is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us through PlayGlade and we will delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to receive a copy of information you provided. You can correct your in-game name with a rename scroll where the game offers it. To exercise other rights, contact us through PlayGlade and include your username or in-game UID. You may also lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
You can refuse non-essential cookies in your browser. The game needs a session cookie to keep a signed-in account.
We and our providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where the law requires a safeguard for that transfer, we use one the law recognizes, such as a contract with standard clauses.
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date at the top and ask you to accept it again on the login screen before you continue.
Privacy questions can be sent through PlayGlade, the website that hosts Mythbound. Please include your username or in-game UID so we can find the right account.
